What To Expect
Thank you for your referral.
To facilitate the consultation, please provide the referral form, a copy of the medical record as well as all laboratory test results. We will then contact the client to schedule a consultation.
Many initial consultations focus on addressing secondary infection as well as the underlying primary disease. Typically this involves an allergy work-up, biopsy or testing for hormonal conditions. Some medication protocols will require laboratory monitoring. As the patient becomes stabilized the long-term goal will be to see them every 6-12 months.
If non-dermatological problems are identified, the client will be referred to your practice.
You will be provided with a written report from each visit. Please feel free to contact our practice if there is anything you wish to discuss regarding the patient’s dermatological plan.
